Weekly Hotspot – Taman Tasik Perdana

The Lake Gardens or Taman Tasik Perdana are about 4-5 km from home and we HAVE to go there at least once a week for S and A ‘s sake. S enjoys playing in the play area, feeding the fishes, turtles and ducks/swans while A goes around the lake for a run and does some steps climbing as well.

This garden is a blessing for people like us who have a child and living in an apartment/condo which doesn’t have a very great play area. Kids are happy to be at the garden, the recent developments include an area where you could skate or cycle. We love going to this place every weekend! It is some sort of ritual haha…

Leaving you with some pictures of the area of the park near the lake….You can read more about the Lake Gardens here

The Lake Gardens are part of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kuala Lumpur, it is open to public – you can picnic, play a sport, run, walk, cycle, skateboard, rollerskate – a luxury for people like me who have come from India where open spaces are pretty hard to find. This is the location

There are many play areas for children and the kids love it here, simply their favourite. There is a lot of green space where you can play ball or badminton or a game of frisbee, you will simply enjoy the place.
